What is a Solar Site Review ?

Home Solar Site Review are designed to provide home owners site-specific information about how solar water heating systems can help meet their energy needs.

During the site review a trained solar energy consultant will visit your business and/or review building plans.

The consultant will evaluate your site, answer your questions, and summarize their findings in a written report that will include:

1.  A review of your goals for having a solar water heating system
2. A basic analysis of your energy needs
3. An evaluation of the solar resource at your site Recommendations for a solar water heating system to meet your energy goals
4. Estimated output of a solar water heating system, based on the solar resource estimate
5. Information on the best place to site your system
6. A general cost estimate for the system
7. The next steps you need to take to make your system a reality

While a site review may provide estimated costs and recommended components for a renewable energy system, it is not a bid nor does it provide a system design.

In some cases other renewable energy technologies may also be recommended, although the assessment is not a comprehensive analysis of alternative technologies.
